Marshawn Lynch surprises football campers

Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is well-known for giving back to the communities in the Bay Area. The 31-year-old Oakland native has been a role model for the Bay Area’s youth even before he came out of retirement to sign with the Silver and Black.

Beast Mode continued to live up to his reputation as a Oakland ambassador with a surprise appearance at Raiders defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr.’s defensive clinic on Saturday. Lynch rewarded the clinic’s top performers with a signed commemorative football.

Lynch has made it clear that his reason for coming out of retirement was solely to suit up and play for his hometown team.

Chances are good that Beast Mode will be making more impromptu appearances to local football camps in Oakland as we get closer to Week 1.
