Panthers linebackers lead NFL in interceptions over last 5 years

Whoever has the second best linebacker corps in the NFL, they aren’t even close to the Carolina Panthers. No other team has such an embarrassment of riches at the position.

Led by the best middle linebacker of our time, Luke Kuechly, Carolina’s starting trio is the envy of every front office in football.

The combination of Kuechly, Thomas Davis and Shaq Thompson has virtually no weaknesses. All three are equally adept at stopping the run, getting after the quarterback and dropping back into coverage.

NFL Football Game May Just Have Predicted the Next President
Some sports fans believe the results of the U.S. Presidential election may have been decided by a football game. TC Newman (@PurpleTCNewman) has details on “The Redskin Rule.”
Their specialty though is in creating turnovers, though and they do it far better than any other linebacker room in the sport.

According to a friendly reminder from the team’s public relations department, since Kuechly came into the NFL in 2012, the Panthers linebackers have lead the league in interceptions with 25:

Since 2012, Carolina’s LB’s have the most INTs (25) of any NFL linebacker corps.

Kuechly has accounted for nearly half of those picks with 12, while Davis has added another 10.
