It was apparent to anyone watching, the Cowboys franchise was invigorated by the youth added to the roster in 2016. Led by fun-loving No. 4 pick Ezekiel Elliott and rookie of the year quarterback Dak Prescott, the entire mood of the team seemed different. It played out with a 13-3 record that took a lot of serious hard work and dedication.
But boy did those guys have fun along the way. From dance parties in practice, to talking trash to opponents after victories, the team certainly enjoyed coach Jason Garrett’s process. If it wasn’t Dez Bryant telling Washington to get their money back from Josh Norman, it was Ezekiel Elliott hopping in the Salvation Army Kettle.
